ACCOUNTABILITY NOW A MUST FOR ALL BUSIA COUNTY LEADERS

A huge majority of Busia County voters do support the good Govt of His Excellency Hon Ojaamong

The blind can see that, the deaf can hear that, even the dumb can pronounce it – even fools are bright enough to know that .

However,   what is important to all of us is service delivery and the development of our county so that extreme poverty is alleviated and living standards raised for our people.

This ought to be a collective responsibility for all leaders

The need to hold leaders accountable has thus given birth to the BUSIA COUNTY LEADERSHIP ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT   -  www.busiaccountability.blogspot.com

The project shall be reaching out to ALL elected Busia County politicians , so that each one of them can give a two year report, 2013 to present  (in their own words) of what they believe has been their input and contribution  the betterment of our peoples lives.

First to be appraised will be the 16 NOMINATED MCAs

1)      Ali Mohammed Nur
2)      Alary Nasike Lillian
3)      Happy Gloria
4)      Monica Apiyo Mung’ala
5)      Shirly Magrate
6)      Chevy Alice Nafula
7)      Rose Idewa
8)      Tecla Calori
9)      Nafula Mandu
10)   Nasienya Rosebella
11)   Berthlet Oduma
12)   Roseline Oduor
13)   Omollo Rachel
14)   Omukaga Pamela Barasa
15)   Otete Charles
16)   Veronica Pamba

Surely, they earn taxpayer funds, they are constitutionally no lesser MCAs and thus are equally tasked with the legislative and developmental role in our esteemed county.

Each and every one of them shall be contacted,  so that they can basically account for their time in office and list their achievements so far as concerns pushing our county forward. (their reports - 16 of them shall be published here for all to view)

Next  will be the 35 elected MCAs,

It is worth noting that they each receive 10M annually to foster development in their wards

Its only fair that they publicly release reports of the same for public scrutiny

They will also be able to share with the public any innovative initiatives that they have launched
